GLOBAL SCHOOL NETWORK USES SMITHSONIAN RESOURCES – The Asia Society’s Global School Network works in schools across the United States to provide an interdisciplary high school curriculum with a focus on global competence.  An Asia Society curriculum designer and evaluator wanted to explore innovative ways to integrate art into high school learning and teaching.  He worked with a curator and two museum educators at the National Portrait Gallery to create a new and innovative profressional development opportunity for Global School Network educators.
